Rollermouse Go Specs

Hello-

I have been a user of different RollerMice (RollerMouses? lol) since about 2009. The first one I had was suggested to me by an ergonomic evaluator while doctors were about to place me on disability under Worker’s Comp. My pain was so bad that I couldn’t even hold a fork! After getting used to the scroll bar and buttons, I found that my pain subsided to a tolerable level and I never went out on disability.

I have used several iterations throughout the years and am currently using the RollerMouse Red + Balance Keyboard and could not be happier! This is the best version I’ve used to date however I’m now traveling more and more for work which means that I pack both the RollerMouse and keyboard in the universal sleeve, my work laptop, my personal laptop, and a travel monitor in my carryon, which is obviously cumbersome, and weighs almost 40 lbs combined.

To my point - I am now looking at the RollerMouse Go + Go Dock to take on my trips while leaving my Red at home with my desktop. My questions:

  • How much do the items weigh, individually? I would love to lessen the load.
  • Would it be worth getting the docking station or is the Go, alone, better for traveling?
  • Does the combo come with a sleeve like the Red combo did/does? I like that the padded sleeve provides a barrier from my other devices but sometime find that, given the number of items I carry, the sleeve is just a little bit too long and sometimes prevents my pack from zipping completely. (i.e. if I want to bring my tablet or a book too).
  • What is the difference between Go and Mobile?

I couldn’t find any other posts or tags about the Go although I may have simply missed them. Any help with specs or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks so much!

Hi Andrian,

Glad to hear that the Rollermouse Red has helped you so much over the years, and happy to hear that you are such an avid user!

I apologize for the delay in answer, and will try to help as soon as possible.
To answer your questions:

  • How much do the items weigh, individually? I would love to lessen the load.
    – The Rollermouse Go, is net weight 0.75 lbs, and the dock is net weight 1.30 lbs, both numbers are actually accessible directly on the product pages:
    Rollermouse Go
    RollerMouse Go Dock
    Go to the “Specification” section.

  • Would it be worth getting the docking station or is the Go, alone, better for traveling?
    – If it is for pure travelling, I would recommend just getting the GO, as the dock is meant for a permanent desk that you simply put the GO into, that increases the overall size to match with the Balance Keyboard in size.

    – This particular combo does not come with the sleeve, and you would need to purchase it on the side - can be found under accessories: Accessories for Your Ergonomic Products | Contour Design

  • What is the difference between Go and Mobile?
    – GO is the newer version of the Mobile, which is no longer in production.

Please let me know if you have any further questions - and have a fantastic day.
