Contour roller ball red plus wireless mouse

Hello,

I have a question for you. I purchased a contour roller mouse red plus wireless mouse. I am liking it, but I am finding that when I am typing my hands keep pressing the two big right and left buttons. I am wondering if maybe I picked the incorrect mouse for myself? I did take the quiz but now I’m wondering if I need a different one? Any recommendations or thoughts? I would sure welcome them.

Thank you,

Cindy Corral Moreno

Hi Cindy,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

If you are having trouble with your hands hitting the buttons, it could be because of several smaller points.

If you are using the the rollermouse with a “normal” keyboard - not one of ours, there might be a slight height difference that can cause your hands to lay incorrectly - at the same time, placement of the device can also cause this, if the device is too far from your reach.

We recommend the Rollermouse being close to the edge if your desk, roughly placed with the edge of the wrist rest, at the edge of the desk. This should give you the correct seated position.

At the same time, it does take some getting use to, to get comfortable with the mouse and how it needs to be placed. Placement of the mouse can be adjusted slightly, but should be closer to your body than the center of the desk.

From what you explain, I would not say you have chosen wrong, but you simply need time to adjust to how a Rollermouse is used in practice.
All our mice needs to be placed like this, and this will help with any wrist or back pains when done correctly.

If you have any further questions, I would suggest calling our support line =).

Have a great day.
