I am a user of two wired Contour Unimouse devices—one at work and one at home. First of all, I would like to say that it is an excellent design. I really enjoy using it.
After using the mouse extensively, however, I have noticed a couple of areas where I think the design could be improved to make it even more ergonomic and comfortable.
First, when I need to lift the mouse slightly to reposition it on the mouse pad and recenter the cursor, it is almost impossible to get a good grip on it. Adding a small feature or textured area that makes it easier to lift the mouse would greatly improve usability.
Second, I find that the scroll wheel is positioned too far toward the rear of the mouse. As a result, my finger has to reach back to use it every time. If the scroll wheel could be moved closer to the front of the mouse, I believe it would be much more comfortable and ergonomic to use.

To address your post:
Thank you for the feedback - it will be collected with all feedback that we send to our development team, and they will take your feedback into account and weigh it against similar feedback we have from other users.
A few useful pieces of information.
We do not adjust the current iteration of the Unimouse, as in the design itself and where everything is placed, or added features, is not done to the current model.
If any changes are applied, they will be added to new product lines, such as a den version of the mouse when we make it, or even taken into consideration for new products.
This means, that the feedback you have given on grip when lifting, and scroll wheel position, will be noted and collected with all feedback, and taken into consideration when designing a new version, as such changes would require a new model, as many users also prefer it as is, it would be useful for alternative models or new products instead.
We sincerely appreciate your feedback, and hope you will continue to provide us with it going forward.
